Three rooms, one line

From the door to the chair, without a crowd by the counter.

At the door

A card with a code

Print the poster, tape it up. Customers scan it, type a first name and get the next number.

On their phone

A ticket that keeps up

Their place in line and an honest estimate, updated on its own. A gold screen when it's their turn, and a chime if they turn sound on.

At the counter

One bell: next

Call the next customer from a phone or a tablet. Served, no-show or back to the front: one tap each.

Privacy, built in

We ask your customers for a first name and a party size. That's all.

No phone numbers

No texts, no e-mail, no accounts. The ticket lives in their browser tab.

Names don't linger

Names are cleared when you close the day (or within an hour after your line's day ends) and deleted from the site within a day and a half. Server backups keep them a few weeks longer: see Privacy.

Numbers on the board

The lobby screen shows ticket numbers only, never names.

No ads, no trackers

Nothing on these pages loads from anywhere else.

Questions

Before you tape up the card

Do my customers need an app?

No. The card's code opens a web page. They type a first name and keep that page open; it updates itself every few seconds.

What about customers without a smartphone?

Add them from the counter with "Add a walk-in". They get the next number like everyone else and you call it out.

Will their phone ring when it's their turn?

If the ticket page is open, it turns gold, chimes (when they switched sound on) and vibrates where the phone allows. A locked phone may not show it, so the page tells them to glance at it now and then. We don't send texts.

How good is the wait estimate?

It starts from your own minutes-per-customer guess. Once you have served three people today it uses the middle of your last ten real service times instead, divided across your counters. It is always shown as an estimate.

Is this a chamber of commerce?

No. Antechamber is a software tool from GarfieldChambers.com, and it is not affiliated with any chamber of commerce or city. More about us.
